The Temporary Thought Collective has been active since 2012. This Autumn we will combine the analogue meet up, soup and walk, with a virtual session in the following week to allow more to join. When you sign up we will send you a zoom link.
The Rand Corporation was the first research entity to be called a 'think tank'. Researching all topics that are relevant for ‘a state’ it is attracts researcher who want to act in the space between basic research and urgent practical solutions. The Rand's directorJason Metheny has a biography that makes him quite an exceptional leader for this large team of individuals and his take on what and how to do research is inspiring. One question here is how do we scale and apply this to other research units closer to home?
